About AccreditedNow

CPA-signed accredited investor verification you can independently check

AccreditedNow is an online accredited investor verification service. An independent, licensed CPA reviews your documents and issues a Rule 506(c)-ready letter — and anyone can confirm that letter is genuine in seconds.

Who we are

AccreditedNow LLC is a U.S. company (organized in Indiana) that provides accredited investor verification for individuals, entities, and Rule 506(c) sponsors and funds. We are an independent verification service — not a law firm, registered investment adviser, or CPA firm — and we exist to make the SEC's "reasonable steps" verification requirement fast, affordable, and easy to trust.

Every verification results in a signed letter that a deal sponsor's counsel can rely on, backed by a public system that lets anyone confirm the letter is real.

Who performs the verification

Verifications are reviewed and signed by an independent, licensed U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing. A CPA letter is one of the methods the SEC has expressly identified as satisfying the Rule 506(c) "reasonable steps" standard, which is why sponsors accept it.

The reviewing CPA is independent of AccreditedNow and of the issuer, and makes the accreditation determination based on the documentation you provide — not on your say-so.

How verification works

  1. You share what qualifies you. Income (recent tax returns or W-2s), net worth (bank, brokerage, and retirement statements, net of liabilities), or an active FINRA Series 7, 65, or 82 license.
  2. An independent CPA reviews it. The CPA examines the documentation directly and confirms whether you meet the SEC's accredited investor criteria under Regulation D.
  3. You receive a signed letter. Typically within 24 hours. It states the qualification basis and the review date, and is valid for 90 days under the Rule 506(c) safe harbor.
  4. Anyone can confirm it's genuine. Each letter carries a public certificate ID and QR code that resolves on our site — no financial details exposed.

Because the letter documents the method and date of review, it gives the issuer a clean, defensible record of the reasonable steps taken — the thing that matters in an SEC inquiry.

Verify any AccreditedNow letter

Received a letter and want to confirm it's real? Every AccreditedNow verification letter includes a public certificate ID. Enter it and you'll see whether the letter is verified, who it covers, and whether it's still current — and nothing more. No sensitive financial information is ever exposed through the checker.

This is deliberately public: a verification you cannot check is a verification you cannot trust.
