Rule 506(c) requires an issuer to take reasonable steps to verify that every purchaser is accredited. A written confirmation from a CPA, attorney, registered broker-dealer, or registered investment adviser is one of the safe harbors, and it is the one most syndicators rely on. The weakness has always been the document itself: a PDF is trivially edited, and an issuer accepting one has no way to tell an authentic letter from a convincing copy.
This page closes that gap. Every letter AccreditedNow issues carries a certificate ID that was minted before the letter was written and stored against the underlying case. Checking it here confirms four things: that a letter with this ID was actually issued, that the name on the letter in your hand matches the name on the record, that a licensed professional performed the review, and that the verification has not passed its expiration date.
Keep the answer with your subscription file. It is the evidence that you did not simply accept a document at face value.
It returns status, not finances. You will not see the investor's income, net worth, account balances, institutions, property holdings, or the documents the CPA reviewed, and neither will anyone else who enters this ID. That is deliberate and it is the point of the product: an accredited investor should be able to prove they qualify without handing brokerage statements to every sponsor they meet. A certificate that leaked the underlying figures would defeat the reason the investor bought it.
