Every verification needs two things: a government-issued photo ID (to confirm your identity), plus documents proving one qualification method. Your licensed CPA uses both to confirm who you are and that you meet the accredited investor criteria.
Required for everyone — a government-issued photo ID. A driver's license, passport, or state ID. This confirms your identity for the CPA's required KYC (know-your-customer) review and must be uploaded in every case, in addition to your qualification documents below.
Then upload documents for one of the following qualification methods:
W-2 or 1099 forms — last 2 years (income qualification)
Federal tax returns — last 2 years (income qualification)
Bank or brokerage statements showing assets (net worth qualification)
Investment account statements — dated within 90 days
Active FINRA Series 7, 65, or 82 license copy (license qualification)
Existing attorney, CPA, or RIA letter (if you have one)
Not sure what to upload? Your two most recent tax returns or W-2s are usually the easiest documents and sufficient for income-based qualification.

Your letter is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. We'll remind you before it expires.
Your documents are encrypted and only accessible by your assigned licensed CPA. We never share financial documents with third parties. Documents are deleted 90 days after your letter is issued.
